Clarity you can build accreditation on.
Veritas Quality Solutions helps Caribbean colleges, universities, and training providers get accredited, build quality systems that work, and use their own data to make better decisions.
Founder & Principal Consultant
Built on a dual vantage point most consultancies don't have.
Led by Dr. Gersha Pierre, who has spent 25 years on both sides of accreditation in the Caribbean — as a national regulator, and as the person inside a university responsible for quality and research for over a decade.
What evaluators look for
Years leading national accreditation reviews mean we know exactly what evaluators look for, where they find gaps, and what separates a document that just checks boxes from one that convinces them.
What works inside an institution
Over a decade building these systems from inside a university means what we design is made for people to use — not filed away the moment the accreditation visit ends.
Six ways we help institutions build quality that endures.
Accreditation & Regulatory Readiness
Gap analysis, self-study support, and evaluation-visit preparation for ACTT and other regulatory bodies.
Programme & Course Design
Learning outcomes, programme documentation, and course design aligned to regulatory and industry standards.
Curriculum Mapping & Programme Review
Systematic mapping of curricula to outcomes and standards, with structured, evidence-based review cycles.
Quality Management Systems & Policy
QMS design and policy/procedure development aligned to ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements.
Institutional Research & Effectiveness
IR frameworks, KPI dashboards, and assessment cycles that turn institutional data into real decisions.
Governance, Audit & Board Advisory
Board compliance briefings and internal audit fundamentals, grounded in direct audit-committee experience.
The Service Quality Scale for Higher Education (SQSHE) — an original instrument, built for the Caribbean context.
Developed through original doctoral research, the SQSHE is a tool built specifically for the Caribbean — not borrowed and adapted from somewhere else. It helps institutions understand, in plain and usable terms, how students and stakeholders experience their service.
Alongside the SQSHE, our founder has also applied the Quality Culture Inventory (QCI) — used and adapted with permission from its original author — to explore quality culture at a Caribbean tertiary institution, with findings presented as a plenary at the CANQATE Annual Conference.
Four steps from first conversation to delivered work.

Structured delivery against agreed milestones, with direct access throughout — not a black box.
Handover
Final deliverables, findings, and a clear path for your team to sustain the system going forward.
